Born and raised in Galveston, Texas. Robert has spent most of his life in the Lone Star State. An Army veteran from the first Iraq war (Desert Storm), he is a highly patriotic American who believes in his country and what she stands for.

 

Early in his military career, Robert was stationed in New Jersey, where he met his wife of twenty plus years. They moved back to Texas and settled in Longview where they raised their two sons.
